KOOGES, short for KOOperative GEnosSenschaft, is non-profit a freshly founded society located in Switzerland. We don't identify ourselves as a startup because our founders have experience in product improvement, testing, and development, and we have the equipment and drive to shape the future.

On the other hand, we also know that there are many skilled individuals out there who would like to use their hobby time to apply their knowledges, skills and possible make a positive impact on society.
That's why we invite anyone who has something to offer to join us and contribute their skills and expertise to our community.
With our support, you can bring your ideas to life by creating prototypes, developing industrial models, and even obtaining patents.

The annual membership fee is voluntary.
Members' ideas can be protected through a confidentiality agreement or shared with registered members. The wealth of the cooperative is used to support approved member projects, purchase equipment, and cover incurred expenses. If utility models or patents are registered, they will always be filed in the names of the inventors.
Once a project is published, it receives its own dedicated page where the names (or nicknames) of the participants and their contributions to the project are listed. Members commit to donating 10% of the production price for at least five years or until the full coverage of KOOGES' expenses directly related to the product (plus 10%) has been achieved.
If KOOGES establishes a new company (when product sales exceed 100,000 CHF and upon the request of the product owner), the cooperative will retain a 15% share for the next five years.

Q: Can you earn money by helping others?
A: Currently, our work is based on volunteer efforts. However, we organize KOOGES events where members can enjoy free meals and drinks. If the project you are involved in becomes successful, the project owner and KOOGES can negotiate a fair reward.
Additionally, there is the possibility that we will create full-time positions in the near future. We will keep our members informed about such developments and opportunities in a timely manner. Stay tuned!
WE ARE COOPERATION - The annual membership fee is at least CHF 96 in the first year. From the second year onward, the fee is waived for active members, but voluntary contributions remain welcome.
